I was talking to Terri from Nature of Beauty and developer of Pit Potion (a natural deodorant I love) about our favorite beauty products. She said if she had to pick one it would be her Clarisonic face brush, and I completely concurred.
It got me thinking of my absolute must-have items. Â The things I CANNOT Â live without.
I can live without deodorant. Â I can make it without mascara. Â I don’t need a toothbrush (jk)…
But, I MUST HAVE these 10 things on a daily basis!
1. Lemons
I go through a bag of lemons a week. Â I drink warm lemon water in the morning, put lemon juice in my tea, add them to my fresh green juices for flavor and a natural preservative…I just can’t live without them.
2. My Journal
I love going back and reading my creepy dreams. Â If dreams are are a gateway to the soul them I am certifiably bonkers.
3. Vitamix
How did I ever blend before I owned this? Â I bet I could blend a rock into my smoothies and not tell the difference.
4. Juicer
It’s a love-hate relationship. Â If it could just clean itself.
5. Lulu Lemon pants
Otherwise I’d be naked because I wear them most of the day, looking like complete dog’s a$$ with sweat encrusted hair until I finally decided to take a shower about bedtime. Â My daughter asks me if I’m going to a party when I wear jeans.
7. Digestive Enzymes
I’ve been using them (relying on them!) more and more as I’ve gotten older. Everything in my body seem to need a little extra help after I turned 39.
8. Clarisonic Skin Care Brush
It’s like a vibrator for your face, people. Â It rocks.
9. My Luvsac Bean Bag Chair
It is gigantic and  skwooshy like a love seat-sized marshmallow.  I sometimes curl up on it and take a nap.  Heaven.
10. A cup of hot tea
There is nothing better than wrapping my hands around a warn cup tea and slowly sipping in the flavors. There seems to be tea for my every mood.
What about you? What is ONE thing you COULD NOT live without?
Lip balm! I get so cranky when I don’t have any avail so I currently have about 6 tubes going in various places in the house. Aaron likes it too, but he wants to put it on his chin. I am currently using Dr. Bronners. Love!
I bet her has the softest chin in town. My favorite lip stuff is Sara Happ scrub and lip slip. I love scrubbing my lips!
If I don’t have a little Coke each day, I self combust. It’s not the caffeine, it’s not the sure high, it’s simply that wonderful taste that must accompany the rosemary crusted asiago cheese that I eat for lunch most days. It’s medicinal and bad for you at the same time. Not fair.
That is like me with beer and pizza. They cannot be consumed apart.
Laura Mercier primer. It will change your life. Music. Can’t live (or do cardio) without it. A glass of Pinot Noir and bubble bath. For my decompression sessions. Laughter. As hard and as frequent as possible. My Mac Book Pro. My fingers and keyboard are making my dreams come true.
Laura would be so pleased to see her products on here. I will have to try that one. I’m so lazy about makeup I just put the tinted moisturizer on my bare skin!
I love all of your others. We would make fast friends over wine because I like to make people laugh 🙂
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my Vita Mix – a healthy investment and worth every penny:) Thanks for sharing!
I know, I have a love affair with that machine!
That reminds me, I had a dream we flew somewhere and grabbed lunch together =)
How nice! I hope I remembered to take a digestive enzyme 🙂
ditto on lululemon yoga pants + clarisonic (my friends and i swear the dermatologist is actually selling sex toys)
and more must haves…
laura mercier tinted moisturizer
my iPhone
tight, but not too tight jeans
and tell me about the digestive enzymes…my son takes them, but what have they done for you?
Laura Mercier tinter moisturizer totally should have been on my list! So light and natural.
So, I take digestive enzymes when I eat meat and/or cooked food (since the cooking zaps the natural enzymes) because my system has gotten sluggish in the past year. It helps keep things going. I know I need to keep eating more raw raw foods, but, alas, my life is not perfect…sigh
My top must have- sadly, tweezers, for the oh so feminine under chin hairs of aging. If I was on Survivor I would beg to be kicked off if I lost them.
What is up with that, anyway? I thought our hormones were decreasing yet I appear to be going through male puberty. Next stop zits and and adams apple? Seriously disturbing…
Lip gloss – I cannot stand having dry lips. Going through airport security this week I pulled so many tubes out of my purse that I am starting to think I need a 12 step program.
It’s kind of like pacifiers for babies…never want to be without one so they are EVERYWHERE!
